Fig sub-ohm kit IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Fig in Maputo: 21 units tested over 3 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good sub-ohm kit from a repack
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Fig prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.2 per 10 ml.
The short version: fig in Maputo works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig sub-ohm kit really costs in Maputo
A fig sub-ohm kit from the reviewed options in Mozambique costs about MT2.2 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested fig in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where fig goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why fig tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long fig in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Fig | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | sub-ohm kit | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 21 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT54 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.2 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does fig in a sub-ohm kit last?
In Maputo we measured 3 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.2 per 10 ml liquid plus MT54 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
