Fig sub-ohm kit IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Fig in Maputo: 15 units tested over 6 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Fig sub-ohm kit here
Fig sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 15 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Fig prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.87 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long fig tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a fig sub-ohm kit really costs in Maputo
Fig in Maputo reaches the shelf in sub-ohm kit formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested fig in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where fig goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why fig tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
