Fig starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Fig in Maputo: 8 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Fig starter kit here
If you are looking at fig in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run fig the same way in Maputo: same starter kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: fig in Maputo works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig starter kit really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at fig in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested fig in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where fig goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT44 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.81 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
