Fig prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Fig in Maputo: 7 units tested over 8 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Fig is allowed to say
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Fig prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a fig prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
Fig sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested fig in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every fig bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where fig goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT28 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.71 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Packaging for fig in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Fig | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | prefilled pod | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 7 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~5 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT28 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT1.71 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should fig start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
