Fig pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Fig in Maputo: 6 units tested over 6 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good pod kit from a repack
Fig sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Fig in Maputo reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long fig tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a fig pod kit really costs in Maputo
A fig pod kit from the bulk options in Mozambique costs about MT3.21 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested fig in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where fig goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for fig in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.21 per 10 ml liquid plus MT44 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On fig the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.21 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should fig start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
