Fig pen device IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Fig in Maputo: 12 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Fig is allowed to say
Fig in Maputo reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
A fig pen device from the flat-rate options in Mozambique costs about MT2.43 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: fig in Maputo works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig pen device really costs in Maputo
Fig sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested fig in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where fig goes wrong
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for fig in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
