Fig pen device IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Fig in Maputo: 8 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Fig is allowed to say
Fig pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run fig the same way in Maputo: same pen device, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a fig pen device really costs in Maputo
Fig in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested fig in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every fig bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where fig goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long fig in Maputo survives.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for fig in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Entry kit | MT54 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.38 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should fig start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
