Fig mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Fig in Maputo: 18 units tested over 9 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Fig is allowed to say
We run fig the same way in Maputo: same mesh tank, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Fig in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a fig mesh tank really costs in Maputo
Fig in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested fig in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where fig goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.36 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for fig in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
