Fig 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Fig in Maputo: 19 units tested over 5 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good 30 ml shortfill from a repack
A fig 30 ml shortfill from the cheapest options in Mozambique costs about MT1.81 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Fig in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long fig tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a fig 30 ml shortfill really costs in Maputo
Fig prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.81 per 10 ml.
How we tested fig in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where fig goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.81 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for fig in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does fig in a 30 ml shortfill last?
In Maputo we measured 5 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should fig start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 30 ml shortfill.
