Dessert refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Dessert in Maputo: 7 units tested over 6 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Dessert is allowed to say
Dessert refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Dessert in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: dessert in Maputo works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a dessert refill pack really costs in Maputo
A dessert refill pack from the compared options in Mozambique costs about MT2.46 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested dessert in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long dessert in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT28 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.46 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should dessert start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
Is dessert legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
