Dessert pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Dessert in Maputo: 8 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the dessert habit
If you are looking at dessert in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Dessert pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert pod kit really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested dessert in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every dessert bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised MT30 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.66 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long dessert in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

| Entry kit | MT30 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.66 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should dessert start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
Is dessert legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
