Dessert pen device IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Dessert in Maputo: 19 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The honest read on dessert: 19 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert pen device really costs in Maputo
Dessert pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested dessert in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every dessert bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Batch code and production date, so a dessert bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why dessert tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for dessert in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
Is dessert legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.75 per 10 ml liquid plus MT34 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
