Dessert mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Dessert in Maputo: 18 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Dessert sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.8 per 10 ml.
The short version: dessert in Maputo works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a dessert mesh tank really costs in Maputo
We run dessert the same way in Maputo: same mesh tank, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested dessert in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every dessert bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

| Entry kit | MT47 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT1.8 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
How long does dessert in a mesh tank last?
In Maputo we measured 2 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
