Dessert cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Dessert in Maputo: 18 units tested over 3 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good cartomizer from a repack
A dessert cartomizer from the starter options in Mozambique costs about MT2.81 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Dessert cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: dessert in Maputo works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a dessert cartomizer really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested dessert in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long dessert in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for dessert in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.81 per 10 ml liquid plus MT39 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On dessert the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.81 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should dessert start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
