Dessert box mod IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Dessert in Maputo: 18 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What dessert costs in Maputo
Dessert sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run dessert the same way in Maputo: same box mod, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a dessert box mod really costs in Maputo
Dessert sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested dessert in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every dessert bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.63 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long dessert in Maputo survives.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~4 days | The hidden monthly cost |

| Entry kit | MT42 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT1.63 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
