Cream squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Cream in Maputo: 20 units tested over 5 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the cream habit
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Cream in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cream squonk mod really costs in Maputo
Cream squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested cream in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where cream goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cream in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for cream in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~5 days | The hidden monthly cost |

| Entry kit | MT67 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.08 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.08 per 10 ml liquid plus MT67 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should cream start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
Why does cream taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the cream blend itself harsh.
