Cream prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Cream in Maputo: 10 units tested over 9 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
Cream prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Cream sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: cream in Maputo works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cream prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
Cream sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested cream in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a cream bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where cream goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On cream the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.82 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does cream taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the cream blend itself harsh.
Is cream legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
