Cola vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Cola in Maputo: 15 units tested over 9 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Cola vape pen here
Cola prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.6 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: cola in Maputo works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cola vape pen really costs in Maputo
Cola in Maputo reaches the shelf in vape pen formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested cola in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a cola bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where cola goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing cola with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
