Cola in Maputo: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a starter kit for cola
If you are looking at cola in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
A cola starter kit from the online options in Mozambique costs about MT1.91 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: cola in Maputo works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cola starter kit really costs in Maputo
A cola starter kit from the online options in Mozambique costs about MT1.91 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested cola in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where cola goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised MT30 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.91 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for cola in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Entry kit | MT30 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT1.91 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should cola start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
How long does cola in a starter kit last?
In Maputo we measured 7 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
