Cola starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Cola in Maputo: 8 units tested over 9 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the cola habit
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Cola starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cola starter kit really costs in Maputo
We run cola the same way in Maputo: same starter kit, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested cola in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where cola goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised MT58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.5 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cola in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Cola | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | starter kit | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 8 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~5 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT58 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.5 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On cola the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.5 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does cola taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the cola blend itself harsh.
