Cola starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Cola in Maputo: 23 units tested over 5 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Cola starter kit here
Cola sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Cola in Maputo reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cola starter kit really costs in Maputo
Cola starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested cola in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where cola goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.67 per 10 ml.
- Mixing cola with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cola in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for cola in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~7 days | The hidden monthly cost |

| Entry kit | MT62 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT1.67 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On cola the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.67 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Is cola legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Why does cola taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the cola blend itself harsh.
