Cola squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Cola in Maputo: 24 units tested over 6 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the cola habit
A cola squonk mod from the compared options in Mozambique costs about MT2.0 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: cola in Maputo works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cola squonk mod really costs in Maputo
Cola squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested cola in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cola bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where cola goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cola tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.0 per 10 ml liquid plus MT36 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does cola taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the cola blend itself harsh.
How long does cola in a squonk mod last?
In Maputo we measured 6 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
