Cola squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Cola in Maputo: 16 units tested over 5 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Cola squonk mod here
We run cola the same way in Maputo: same squonk mod, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: cola in Maputo works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cola squonk mod really costs in Maputo
We run cola the same way in Maputo: same squonk mod, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested cola in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where cola goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.97 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cola in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for cola in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Entry kit | MT32 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT1.97 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
