Cola pen device IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Cola in Maputo: 9 units tested over 7 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good pen device from a repack
Cola in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A cola pen device from the flat-rate options in Mozambique costs about MT3.26 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cola pen device really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested cola in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cola bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where cola goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cola in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.26 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
