Cola disposable vape IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Cola in Maputo: 14 units tested over 9 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the cola habit
Cola in Maputo reaches the shelf in disposable vape formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Cola in a disposable vape is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the disposable vape you buy decides how long cola tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cola disposable vape really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested cola in a disposable vape
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the disposable vape that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a cola bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a disposable vape arrives sealed but wrong.
Where cola goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.2 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a disposable vape that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Mixing cola with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does cola taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the disposable vape units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the cola blend itself harsh.
How long does cola in a disposable vape last?
In Maputo we measured 9 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is cola legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
