Cola 60 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Cola in Maputo: 23 units tested over 2 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the cola habit
Cola prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.8 per 10 ml.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the 60 ml bottle you buy decides how long cola tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cola 60 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Cola in Maputo reaches the shelf in 60 ml bottle formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested cola in a 60 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cola bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where cola goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a 60 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.8 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cola in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for cola in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Entry kit | MT38 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.8 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On cola the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.8 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
How long does cola in a 60 ml bottle last?
In Maputo we measured 2 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does cola taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the cola blend itself harsh.
