Coffee mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Coffee in Maputo: 6 units tested over 5 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the coffee habit
The honest read on coffee: 6 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Coffee in Maputo reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long coffee tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coffee mesh tank really costs in Maputo
We run coffee the same way in Maputo: same mesh tank, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested coffee in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long coffee in Maputo survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.

How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.9 per 10 ml liquid plus MT51 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
