Coconut sub-ohm kit IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Coconut in Maputo: 15 units tested over 3 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good sub-ohm kit from a repack
Coconut in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Coconut sounds like one product. It is not: a sub-ohm kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long coconut tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coconut sub-ohm kit really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested coconut in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coconut bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long coconut in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.28 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for coconut in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does coconut taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the coconut blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How long does coconut in a sub-ohm kit last?
In Maputo we measured 3 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
