Coconut RDA IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Coconut in Maputo: 10 units tested over 3 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Coconut RDA here
If you are looking at coconut in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Coconut RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: coconut in Maputo works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coconut RDA really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested coconut in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coconut bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.76 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does coconut taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the coconut blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.76 per 10 ml liquid plus MT38 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
