What a coconut pod kit really costs in Maputo
Coconut in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested coconut in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a coconut bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long coconut in Maputo survives.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On coconut the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.07 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does coconut taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the coconut blend itself harsh.
