Coconut pen device IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Coconut in Maputo: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the coconut habit
Coconut pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Coconut sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a coconut pen device really costs in Maputo
A coconut pen device from the flat-rate options in Mozambique costs about MT3.1 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested coconut in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a coconut bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
