Coconut cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Coconut in Maputo: 16 units tested over 3 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with coconut in Mozambique
Coconut prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.69 per 10 ml.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: coconut in Maputo works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coconut cartomizer really costs in Maputo
Coconut in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested coconut in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a coconut bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Mixing coconut with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised MT33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.69 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
