Coconut 60 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Coconut in Maputo: 18 units tested over 7 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Coconut 60 ml bottle here
Coconut prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.0 per 10 ml.
Coconut in Maputo reaches the shelf in 60 ml bottle formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: coconut in Maputo works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coconut 60 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested coconut in a 60 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a coconut bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.0 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a 60 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for coconut in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a 60 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.0 per 10 ml liquid plus MT61 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does coconut taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the coconut blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On coconut the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.0 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
