Citrus starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Citrus in Maputo: 8 units tested over 6 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the citrus habit
If you are looking at citrus in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Citrus starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a citrus starter kit really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested citrus in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised MT60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.37 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long citrus in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for citrus in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
