Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version

Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.8 per 10 ml.

A citrus RDA from the pre-order options in Mozambique costs about MT2.8 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.

If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a citrus RDA really costs in Maputo

Citrus RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.

How we tested citrus in a RDA

1. Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
2. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
3. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.

• Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
• Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
• The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
• Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into Mozambique.

Where citrus goes wrong

• Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
• Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
• Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

The rules that apply here

Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
