Citrus prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Citrus in Maputo: 24 units tested over 3 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with citrus in Mozambique
Citrus prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The honest read on citrus: 24 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at citrus in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested citrus in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.77 per 10 ml.
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
