Citrus pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Citrus in Maputo: 9 units tested over 2 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Citrus is allowed to say
If you are looking at citrus in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The honest read on citrus: 9 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus pod kit really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at citrus in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested citrus in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
