Citrus pen device IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Citrus in Maputo: 17 units tested over 7 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
If you are looking at citrus in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Citrus in Maputo reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: citrus in Maputo works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus pen device really costs in Maputo
Citrus in Maputo reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested citrus in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On citrus the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.39 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
