Citrus mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Citrus in Maputo: 19 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Citrus mesh tank here
Citrus mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Citrus in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus mesh tank really costs in Maputo
A citrus mesh tank from the reviewed options in Mozambique costs about MT3.25 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested citrus in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.25 per 10 ml.
