Citrus cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Citrus in Maputo: 15 units tested over 3 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
The honest read on citrus: 15 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: citrus in Maputo works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus cartomizer really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested citrus in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised MT52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.66 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT1.66 per 10 ml liquid plus MT52 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
