Citrus 60 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Citrus in Maputo: 17 units tested over 2 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with citrus in Mozambique
A citrus 60 ml bottle from the bulk options in Mozambique costs about MT3.42 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run citrus the same way in Maputo: same 60 ml bottle, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the 60 ml bottle you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested citrus in a 60 ml bottle
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a 60 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long citrus in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 60 ml bottle.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On citrus the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.42 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
