Citrus 60 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Citrus in Maputo: 12 units tested over 3 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a 60 ml bottle for citrus
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.91 per 10 ml.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: citrus in Maputo works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus 60 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
We run citrus the same way in Maputo: same 60 ml bottle, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested citrus in a 60 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for 60 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long citrus in Maputo survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT38 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT1.91 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
