Citrus 100 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Citrus in Maputo: 19 units tested over 9 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
Citrus sounds like one product. It is not: a 100 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: citrus in Maputo works if the 100 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus 100 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Citrus sounds like one product. It is not: a 100 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested citrus in a 100 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 100 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On citrus the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.72 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 100 ml bottle.
