Home / Cherry cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist

How to tell a good cartomizer from a repack

There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.

The honest read on cherry: 13 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.

Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.

What a cherry cartomizer really costs in Maputo

There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.

How we tested cherry in a cartomizer

1. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
2. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
3. Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.

• Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
• Batch code and production date, so a cherry bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
• Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
• Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.

Where cherry goes wrong

• Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
• Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cherry in Maputo survives.
• Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

The rules that apply here

Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
