Cherry box mod IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Cherry in Maputo: 18 units tested over 7 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good box mod from a repack
Cherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.05 per 10 ml.
The honest read on cherry: 18 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: cherry in Maputo works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cherry box mod really costs in Maputo
Cherry in Maputo reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested cherry in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cherry tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for cherry in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

| Entry kit | MT55 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.05 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Not automatically. On cherry the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.05 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.05 per 10 ml liquid plus MT55 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
