Caramel refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Caramel in Maputo: 10 units tested over 8 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.77 per 10 ml.
A caramel refill pack from the pre-order options in Mozambique costs about MT2.77 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, refill pack, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel refill pack really costs in Maputo
Caramel refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested caramel in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long caramel in Maputo survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
