Caramel refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Caramel in Maputo: 15 units tested over 8 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the caramel habit
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
A caramel refill pack from the online options in Mozambique costs about MT2.89 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: caramel in Maputo works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a caramel refill pack really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at caramel in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested caramel in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised MT67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.89 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
