Caramel pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Caramel in Maputo: 12 units tested over 6 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
Caramel pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run caramel the same way in Maputo: same pod kit, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel pod kit really costs in Maputo
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.4 per 10 ml.
How we tested caramel in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why caramel tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised MT50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.4 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should caramel start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On caramel the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.4 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
