Caramel box mod IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Caramel in Maputo: 20 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a box mod for caramel
If you are looking at caramel in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Caramel in Maputo reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: caramel in Maputo works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a caramel box mod really costs in Maputo
A caramel box mod from the value options in Mozambique costs about MT2.49 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested caramel in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On caramel the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.49 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
