Caramel box mod IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Caramel in Maputo: 22 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Caramel in Maputo reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel box mod really costs in Maputo
Caramel in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested caramel in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long caramel in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for caramel in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
How long does caramel in a box mod last?
In Maputo we measured 9 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
